Following another stellar year of television, the 76th annual Emmy Awards are ready to recognize the best of the best when it comes to all the new, returning and original programming that audiences watched, streamed or binged during the 2023-24 season.
On Wednesday, Abbot Elementary’s Sheryl Lee Ralph and Veep star Tony Hale unveiled the full list of nominations for the upcoming 2024 Emmys ceremony, recognizing a wide array of series, television movies and specials as well as their stars and creative teams.
This will be the second Emmy Awards of 2024 since the 75th Primetime Emmys were postponed due to the SAG-AFTRA and Writers’ Guild strikes and presented live on Jan. 15.
Succession led the pack with a staggering 27 nominations for its fourth and final season on HBO — the most nominations of any TV series for the 2022-23 season. The HBO drama ended up tying with FX’s The Bear for the most wins with six awards each.
