Some of the delay reasons you might see in the app include ground stops, late inbound aircraft, weather, congestion, taxi delays, ATC staffing, and major events like the Super Bowl.

Thanks to machine learning, the app can predict a possible delay up to 6 hours before the airline makes one official. You can see that information in the redesigned Where’s My Plane section.

You can also see how smoothly operations are at the airport with live performance of takeoffs and landings.

Flighty is a free download for the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac. It’s available on the Mac App Store.

The get the most out of the app, you’ll need a Flighty Pro subscription for $3.99 weekly or $49.99 yearly. There is also a lifetime unlock for $249. You can also pay a bit more and share the subscription with family.

Subscribers can take advantage of additional features like push alert, Live Activities, arrival forecast, calendar sync, and iCloud sync. You’ll need to subscribe to use complications on the Apple Watch.
