What toys will be on children’s wish lists this Christmas? Barbie dolls and Barbie accessories will certainly feature big. But with all the Barbie paraphernalia out there, where do you start—especially if the kid in your life has lots of Barbie stuff already? Have no fear! Mattel and Walmart have partnered to make sure you have some new Barbie items to choose from.
This year, they created a Barbie World collection of themed playsets aimed at sparking storytelling and creative play. Each set gives Barbie the tools she needs to live her fabulous life, whether that involves hosting an outdoor barbeque, kayaking down the river or just kicking back in her very own game room.
Barbie Gifts to Shop at Walmart
The sets are affordably priced at under $25, though none come with an actual doll. Several do feature cute animals, though! Since Barbie’s popularity shows no sign of waning—the sequel to the popular Barbie movie is due out next summer—Barbie items are a pretty safe bet, as holiday gifts go. Read on for some highlights of the Barbie World collection that’s on sale now at Walmart.
Barbie World Game Room Set
Have you noticed that rec rooms in peoples’ homes are often called man caves? We think Barbie would have a few choice words about that. After all, females also like to play games and watch TV in a cushy chair with snacks.
This set has all the items Barbie needs for her own hang-out room: a working foosball table, a bean bag, checkers, a flat-screen TV and a dog and cat to snuggle with. All you need is Barbie herself (and maybe of few of her doll friends) to dig into the popcorn and watch a movie.
Barbie World Garden Playset
If your Barbie likes to grow her own vegetables (and really, whose Barbie doesn’t?), she’ll get a lot of use out of this garden playset. She’ll be able to cultivate three fruits (grapes, tomatoes and strawberries) and one vegetable (carrots) with this trellis and elevated garden bed. But be forewarned: she will have to keep her pet bunny away from the carrots.
Barbie’s efforts will require tools like a shovel and a watering can, obviously. There’s also a basket here for gathering her bountiful harvest. If Ken is lucky, maybe she’ll share some of it with him!
Barbie World Farm Playset
If you have a Barbie farmer doll, she would probably appreciate a big group of animals and farm equipment to work with. With this farm playset, she’ll get to take care of a pig, cow, lamb and goat. She’ll also have the tools and equipment she needs to feed and bathe them—including a wash basin, sponge, apples and a couple of baby bottles.
Could your Barbie use a friend to help tend to the animals? There’s a Chicken Farmer Barbie (sold separately) who might lend a hand after she finishes up her egg-gathering duties.

Who has time to wash dishes? Certainly not Barbie, who’s too busy throwing dance parties at her Dream House. This doll needs a dishwasher, stat! This dishwasher set includes a countertop and drying rack that holds dishes, glasses, utensils and dish soap.
There’s also a dish towel that she can give to Ken. He’ll dry the dishes for her, won’t he? And as long as he’s helping, maybe he could put some of the food back in Barbie’s pantry.
Barbie World Bathtime Toy Playset
Barbie’s bathroom routine may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you’re planning her day. But everyone deserves a little self-care, and there’s no doubt Barbie would love a glamorous pink tub. While she’s soaking in a bubble bath, she might lie back with a cooling eye mask and let her stress melt away.
This set also features a toilet and a sink with a vanity and mirror. That holds all the creams, gels and serums she needs to keep her face and body moisturized. She’ll be able to style her long, silky hair with a brush, blow dryer and curling iron. And when she returns home at night after a long night of dancing, she can soak her tootsies in the foot soak tub.
Barbie World Toy BBQ Grill Playset
Big Green Eggs might be popular right now, but at Barbie’s backyard cookout, the grill is decidedly pink. It opens and shuts, allowing Barbie to grill up some burgers, sausages and hot dogs. This set also includes an oven mitt, tongs, a spatula and a ketchup bottle. Sadly, this set does not come with Heinz Barbiecue sauce (and yes, that’s a real thing).
Is your Barbie a vegetarian? Then you might want to opt for this outdoor pizza oven instead.
Barbie World Kayak & Surf Playset
If your Barbie is planning a day on the water, she’s going to need some of the essentials in this kayak and surf playset. Aside from the kayak, she’ll have a surfboard, snorkel gear, binoculars, suntan lotion, a hat and sunglasses, scuba fins, fishing rods, a life vest and more.
This might be a good activity to bring Ken along. After all, he does a really good job at…beach.
Barbie World Horse Stable Playset
Naturally, Barbie has a horse. And it’s not just any horse. The one in this playset is a trophy-winning, champion jumper. Barbie will need to brush its soft mane and keep it clean at the washing station. There’s also a removable harness, saddle and flower collar.
Don’t have a Barbie who likes to ride horses? You can buy one that comes with boots and a riding helmet.
