If anyone shall reveal the circumstances of Bridgerton Season 4, it is I.
With fifteen Emmy nominations, including two wins, it’s no surprise twenty-eight million people tuned in the first week of Bridgerton Season 3 Part 1.
Then again, fans were probably foaming at the mouth for another season of this historical romance drama.
Netflix has become notorious for taking its time with its hit shows like Bridgerton and Stranger Things.
Both series’ fans have become accustomed to the years-long wait between season drops.
However, the streaming giant is also known for dishing out details to keep fans sated.
That’s where TV Fanatic has you covered because here’s everything we know so far about Bridgerton Season 4!
The die-hard Bridgerton fans likely won’t find this surprising, but yes, Bridgerton was renewed.
The series got the green light for a third and fourth season renewal in April 2021.
It’s possible the showrunners and creators needed as much time in advance as possible, considering each season takes roughly eight months to film.
Set against the backdrop of the Regency era, the eight close-knit siblings of the noble and powerful Bridgerton family – Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory, and Hyacinth – navigate London high society in search of love, surrounded by friends and rivals alike.
Despite the change-up in the novel sequence, Season 4 will focus on Benedict.
Considering the Cinderella-esque themes of the third Bridgerton novel, the series will serve fans large doses of fairytale romance.
It’ll be interesting to see how the second son has a change of heart after meeting someone who will revamp his views on marriage.
At the moment, there is no official episode count for Bridgerton Season 4.
However, fans of the series can likely look forward to another count of eight from Netflix.
Whether the season will be split into two parts like Season 3 has yet to be announced.
Technically, Thompson’s Benedict is the only cast and character confirmed for Bridgerton Season 4.
Still, this series has three seasons and plenty of familiar faces for fans to expect. No doubt, fan favorites like Queen Charlotte will be sashaying back onto the small screen.

Sadly, we will likely see another season pass without Rege-Jean Page’s return. However, there is still a chance that Phoebe Dynevor will make another appearance.
Currently, there is no trailer detailing the story and plot of Bridgerton Season 4.
However, Netflix did release a cute little announcement video featuring Luke Thompson making the official announcement.
Luckily, TV Fanatic has your back and will let you know the moment we receive more word. For now, enjoy the undeniably handsome Benedict Bridgerton.
Fans of the series can find Bridgerton Season 4 on Netflix. The streaming giant will release episodes simultaneously, though it may do so in two parts as it did for Season 3.
Audiences can rewatch the previous three seasons on the app.
Therein lies some news that many fans may not be too happy with. We likely won’t be seeing the following season until 2026.
Showrunner Jess Brownell told The Hollywood Reporter in June, “We are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly, but they do take eight months to film, and then they have to be edited, and then they have to be dubbed into every language.
And the writing takes a very long time as well, so we’re kind of on a two-year pace. We’re trying to speed up, but somewhere in that range.”
So, it will be a bit of a wait, but it’s not all bad news.
Being the streaming giant that Netflix is, the app has a multitude of incredible shows to keep viewers entertained while they wait for Bridgerton Season 4.
If you’re looking to catch up on the romantic drama Virgin River, the first five critically acclaimed seasons are available now, with a sixth season expected to air in 2025.
