The premise is simple. You start with a random trailer from a movie. Watch it and see if it’s something your interested in. If you are, just swipe right. If not, swipe left. Over time, the app will learn your preferences and better personalize suggestions.
All of the movie trailers span decades and touch on a wide variety of genres.
Movies are better with friends, and with ReelMatch you can connect with others to view their watchlist and even create a shared list of titles for the next movie night.
ReelMatch is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It’s a free download on the App Store now.
There is also an optional Pro subscription for $2.99 monthly or $14.99 per year. Subscribers can take advantage of unlimited matches, quickly match with friends, launch directly into s streaming app, filter by genre and provider, and automatically play trailers.
I really enjoyed playing around with the app for a few minutes. I expected to see trailers from movies I had already hear about and seen, but I found some titles that were definitely new to me.
