Tom Brady Goes Ziplining in the Mountains After Son Benjamin Calls Him a ‘Chicken’

Tom Brady‘s a seven-time Super Bowl champion and future Hall of Famer. He’s also a chicken! Well, he used to be, anyway.

The NFL legend took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a glimpse of his picturesque vacation in the mountains with two of his three kids — 14-year-old son, Benjamin, and 11-year-old daughter, Vivian. No word if his 16-year-old son, Jack, is hiding somewhere on the trip, but there’s been no shortage of clowning the famous father.

For example, Brady posted video on his Instagram Story showing him ziplining. Pretty cool, except it took him getting called “a chicken” to get him to join in on the fun. In the video, you can see Brady high up on the platform buckled into his harness getting ready to take a leap.

“When your son calls you a chicken but your daughter is cheering you on,” Brady quipped.

In another snap, the trio pose for a photo by the river, with Vivian covering Benjamin’s head with her fishing net.  

They posed again high atop the mountains, with Benjamin throwing his arm around his dad and Vivian hugging her big bro. Brady captioned the post “Truelove” with three red heart emojis.

Brady shares Benjamin and Vivian with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, and he shares Jack with actress Bridget Moynahan. The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is never one to miss an opportunity to show his kids mad love.

He did exactly that just last month when he was inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame, where he expressed gratitude to his children.

“Your dad loves you more than anything in this world,” Brady beamed. “Your smiles outshine the morning sun. And where I live now, that’s a pretty brilliant sun.”

“There’s no greater joy than watching the three of you grow and teach me things on your way to becoming incredible young adults,” Brady added.

His children — sans calling him “a chicken” — also revere their father. Just recently, they all surprised him with a sweet infinite zoom video encapsulating his most storied accomplishments.

The infinite video begins with an image of Vivian holding the Lombardi Trophy on Feb. 3, 2019 as the father-daughter duo celebrated the Patriots ousting the Los Angeles Rams, 13-3, to capture Brady’s sixth Super Bowl ring.

Just then, someone’s hand pinches the screen and zooms in to show Brady’s long list of his accomplishments in the NFL. The kiddos also narrate the sweet video, beginning with Vivian.

“Hey, Dad, we’re all so excited to be back in Boston this week,” she begins, “and I thought it would be fun to look back at all those amazing years as a Patriot.”
