Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Both my mom and my dad (who have been divorced for 30+ years) came to our house for the big feast. I was slightly nervous (would they feel awkward? should I come up with conversation starters?), but it actually went really well. I felt so inspired by their diplomacy and friendship. Finally, Nordstrom is having a huge sale. It’s a great time to stock up on beauty essentials, plus the one mascara that never runs (my friend Claire crashed on my sofa the other day and woke up the next morning with beautiful eyelashes).

Since I’m always curious what people actually buy, I ordered this hat for my sister, a talking poster for my kids, a food puzzle for my new boyfriend, and this travel essential for myself. Also, gahhhh, the back of this dress. xoxo
