Student Planner Subjects Gets Nice Update Just in Time for Back-to-School Season


Made for high school and college students, there are three major areas of the app.

First up, the app can help manage your schedule so you will always know what class you need to be in. In both a timeline an calendar view, you can see your schedule in the most convenient way. It also supports advanced repeating rules like A/B weeks and recurring days.

Another big part of school is homework, and Subjects features a number of great features to help you manage assignments. In the app, you can add important information like title, notes, and due date.

After completion you can also set the grade and see your progress.

The app uses all known grading systems around the world and calculate GPA. You can also tailor the grade for a specific subjects. It’s also possible to enter weighted assignments.

Just in time for back-to-school season, the app has just been update to version 1.6 with some great additions.

You can now assign icons to represent different class themes. Those will be viewable in all view and widgets. That can help you more easily see the difference between more than one class of the same subject.

On-device intelligence can also help suggest the best icon from all available options.

Subjects is a free download now on the App Store. It’s designed for the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro.

You’ll need a subscription to us the app. There are two options available—$1.99 per month or $9.99 yearly. You can also unlock a lifetime subscription for $29.99.
