StackedSkincare Founder Kerry Benjamin Explains How to Get Glowy Skin Like Hailey Bieber and Cardi B

Stack it on! Kerry Benjamin opened StackedSkincare spa in Santa Monica, California in 2012 and launched her product line in 2014, and since then, It-girls including Hailey Bieber, Cardi B, Kristen Bell, Selena Gomez, and Kesha, have relied on the brand to achieve luminous skin.

“I got started in this industry because of my own personal struggles with severe eczema my whole life. … Realizing I needed to address my own problem and help others, I pursued an aesthetician’s license at the age of 40, leaving behind my tech career,” Benjamin tells ET while celebrating the brand’s new Multi-Acid Foot Peel Duo

“The stacking method began in my spa, where I started combining — or stacking — different modalities to achieve maximum results. … It combines gentle exfoliation to speed up cell turnover with an infusion of active ingredients driven deep into the skin using our tools,” she adds.

As for why A-listers love it: “Our method is about correcting, preventing, and maintaining results using tools to enhance the penetration of active ingredients in peels and serums. … Our approach is highly effective for treating fine lines, hyperpigmentation, dryness, acne, congestion, and enlarged pores. Our body products also help with hyperpigmentation, acne, keratosis pilaris (KP), dryness, and even eczema.”

While the brand targets a variety of issues, the plan to get clear, healthy skin is actually simple and minimalistic.

“For acne, we have 3 steps, and for all other concerns, 4 steps. … Apply products from thinnest to thickest. The order is always cleanse, exfoliate (with our dermaplaning tools and peels), treat (with our microneedling tools and serums), moisturize, and finish with protection (SPF and/or oil),” the skincare expert notes.

From there, customers can expect to see a clearer, brighter, and healthier complexion — no harsh approach needed.

“Go slow when introducing new products, give your skin time to adapt, and do not scrub sensitive skin. … Opt for multi acid peels instead. … They’re not only gentler, but also more effective because different acids target different skin issues. We have peels for both the face and body, so you can enjoy the benefits from head to toe,” Benjamin says.
