Rio Las Vegas is celebrating 35 years of history, after opening on January 15th 1990. Since that time it has attracted locals and visitors alike with its vibrant design, unique amenities, and memorable experiences. Now under Dreamscape Companies, Rio is honoring its legacy while embracing a bold new future. And now, guests can save 35% on room rates for stays through 31 August 2025, when booked by 31 January. Available exclusively when you book direct at official website.

To commemorate this significant milestone, the resort is celebrating with exclusive anniversary specials as well as the reopening of VooDoo Lounge with property happenings all week. The iconic bar reopened on the 51st floor of the resort on January 17th. Open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m., the ultra-lounge offers stunning panoramic views of the Strip, bold new cocktails, and live DJ. Guests can enjoy playful twists on classic drinks, along with innovative, shareable cocktails designed for groups. 21+ with no cover charge.

The Rio Las Vegas Lapa Lounge is offering a limited time 35th Anniversary Rio Rum Punch. Available for $35 from Wednesday, 15 January through Sunday, 19 January, this tropical, shareable cocktail features Diplomatico Reserva Rum, Mount Gay Eclipse Rum, Falernum, Tattersall, orange crema, fresh grapefruit lime citrus and tiki bitters. And from 16-19 January, The Wine Cellar is offering $35 red and white wine flights, each featuring three wines from Italy, France, Spain, and the U.S., paired with gourmet cheeses and meats.

We just visited Rio Las Vegas a few months ago with updates on their new rooms and amenities, as well as the new light show on the exterior of the building. You can find both video on our YouTube channel, and we’ve embedded the review below.
