Reddit has added a new option to enable partner connection within Reddit Business Manager, so that advertisers can approve access to a third-party to either collaborate on, or help them manage their Reddit ads.
As you can see in this example, now, within Reddit Business Manager, you’ll be able to invite partner brands or agencies to collaborate on your account, and help run ad campaigns.
As explained by Reddit:
“The new Partners page gives advertisers access to collaborate with other businesses on the platform by creating partnerships. Profiles, the username shown with an ad, and credit lines, a key payment method, are available to be shared between partners today.”
Reddit says that the update will facilitate collaboration between different businesses on Reddit ads campaigns.
“While the initial launch of Reddit Business Manager allowed for an advertiser to manage everything under their own business umbrella, the new Partners page gives them access to collaborate with other businesses on the platform by creating partnerships. This is set to offer more control, flexibility, and opportunities for partnership between advertisers.”
Reddit says that this is a “fundamental change” for how advertisers and ad agencies can work with clients on Reddit, providing more ways for them to integrate themselves into the Reddit ads workflow, and drive more actions direct in the app.
“There are many different ways to benefit from partnering with other businesses, such as these below:
So now, you can engage with a third-party directly in the app, in order to build better ad campaigns, or undertake collaborative promotions.
Reddit says that it plans to continually improve this feature over time, by adding more business assets, including pixels, audiences, and ad accounts, that are shareable with other businesses.
It’s another consideration for your Reddit promotions, and with the platform now reaching 101 million daily active users, who come to the platform looking for real, human insights, it may well be worth considering.
