Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky Talking Possible Destination Wedding in Europe, Source Says

Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky are planning their wedding!

Since news of the couple’s engagement officially broke last week, ET has learned that the pair have begun planning their nuptials and preparing to say “I do.”

A source tells ET, “Gaga and Michael are the happiest they’ve ever been. Michael has always known Gaga was the one. They had an engagement party at her home in Malibu with their loved ones and everyone is thrilled for them.” 

“They are already thinking about wedding plans and talking about possibly having a destination wedding in Europe,” the source continues. “They’d love to get married sooner than later and both want to start a family.”

On July 28, the 38-year-old singer was captured in a TikTok video introducing her 46-year-old entrepreneur beau as her “fiancé” while chatting with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the 2024 Paris Olympics about her opening ceremony performance. 

Shortly after fans clocked Gaga’s “fiancé” reference, a source revealed to ET that the two have actually “been engaged since the spring,” which makes sense considering that the “Poker Face” singer was first spotted wearing a massive diamond ring on that finger while out and about in West Hollywood back in April. 

“They’re both extremely happy and excited about this moment in their relationship.” the source added.

Gaga made her romance Instagram official in February 2020. Polansky and his now bride-to-be were previously spotted kissing while ringing in 2020 at midnight on New Year’s Eve. Since then, the two have kept their relationship mostly out of the spotlight. But Gaga isn’t completely hiding her man, having referred to him in interviews over the years as “the man that I love” and “the love of my life.”

The couple seem to be a perfect match. A source told ET in 2022 that “Gaga and Michael are serious and are very much in love.” 

In 2021, another source told ET, “Everyone really loves Michael, and Lady Gaga is very happy with him. He’s different than other guys she’s dated in the past because he’s very outwardly endearing and loving and has an old-school gentleman vibe about him.”

“She loves manly men who take the lead and Michael is definitely that,” the source continued at the time. “She feels like a princess in their relationship. She has been somewhat private about their relationship and wants to protect it.”

As for wanting to start a family together, the upcoming Joker star has named tying the knot and having kids as something she wants out of life. “I will say I am very excited to have kids,” she told InStyle back in 2020. “I look forward to being a mom. Isn’t it incredible what we can do? We can hold a human inside and grow it. Then it comes out, and it’s our job to keep it alive.”

The following year, a source told ET that “she has been telling her friends that she wants to get through a few projects and then focus on settling down. Gaga wants to have children one day and sees a future with Michael.”
