Former footballer Jermaine Jenas has been sacked by the BBC.
The broadcaster has confirmed he is “no longer part” of The One Show‘s “presenting line-up”.
It’s also understood he has been dropped from his punditry duties on football highlights programme Match Of The Day.
Jenas, 41, has been dropped after an internal investigation by the BBC into alleged complaints about his behaviour, according to reports in The Sun.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United midfielder moved into punditry and presenting on both the BBC and BT Sport after retiring from professional football in 2016.
He joined The One Show in 2020.
