If you’re homeschooling or your kiddo needs more after-school activities, these boxes are your solution to saving on educational activity books and puzzles the kids will absolutely love!

Hip2Save Sidekick, Chelsey, tried this box out with her kids and LOVED it!

With three kiddos under 4 years old, I’ve become a sort of a Pre-K activity book connoisseur. We’ve tried the best ones and the not-so-great ones, so I can say with great confidence that Highlights definitely makes the mark!

I love that there is repetition so my kiddos can actually retain the concepts and variety to keep their interest. Plus, the signature Highlights hidden picture search and find activities were a hit. So great that we even had to sneak one in before bedtime!

And, this Hip Reader also had success with these boxes…

Just want to say I got the kit last week & I love everything about it! The first grade kit includes a “Math Concepts” book and a “Phonics and Spelling” book. Both are 40+ pages of worksheets & then additional pages for answers and a certificate of completion.

The practice dry erase board for 1st grade has “All about my day” as a theme one 1 side, with it being split in 2 & posing the question “The weather is” and “Today, I’m excited for” on the other. It’s formatted like the Primary composition books, where the top half of the section has space to draw a picture & the bottom is lined (blue line, dash blue line & red line.) The other side of the board is upper & lower case practice, with space for them to practice writing each letter on their own for 2-3 more times (depending on how big they write.)

The last item (and my favorite) is the Write-on Wipe-Off “Let’s Write Letters” book ($12.99 on Amazon & with over 870 reviews, 5 stars.) This book is 55 pages of wipe-off practice pages & it’s SPIRAL bound! And it even includes a pen!

Content-wise, I have a kindergartener who has been practicing letters & doing worksheets since he was 4, so he is a little ahead of the curve on letter writing & math, but behind on phonics. So because of that, I chose to get the set that is 1 step up. After going through the kit, I feel I made the right choice. However, I think the content is pretty accurate with the grade level it was meant for. Hope this helps someone!
