As a popular destination for all things beauty, Ulta loves rewarding loyalty through its rewards program. If you’re a member, which is 100% free to join, you’ll have access to freebies and other remarkably exclusive savings opportunities all year — but never more than during your special birthday month. Similar to how Sephora offers its birthday gifts, Ulta has historically laid out its birthday freebies for you ahead of time, which eliminates any element of surprise.
Recently Ulta changed up its rewards program, first the name switched from Ultamate Rewards to Ulta Beauty Rewards. Second, members now get to choose from different products during their birthday month rather than just receiving a predetermined product.
But some things are staying the same, like earning two times the rewards all birthday month long. Platinum and Diamond members, the most loyal Beauty Rewards tiers of them all, will receive an extra gift valid for $10 off nearly anything, in addition to the freebie product during their birthday month.
Here’s a look at the birthday gift products offered right now and their normal retail price:
Getting your hands on your birthday gift is easy-breezy. Here’s what to do:
A couple of things to know: Your free birthday gift is a travel- or deluxe-size product that ranges anywhere from $7 to $23. Also, you can’t redeem your birthday gift or the $10 birthday coupon at Ulta at Target stores.
Ulta Rewards members can use the Ulta app to make sure they don’t miss their annual birthday freebie. Just download the app and opt into notifications. The Ulta app will let you know as soon as your free birthday gift lands in the app.
