As summer approaches and people make plans for Las Vegas, the Fremont Street free concert series is returning with a better than average lineup. For 2025 that includes names like Toad the Wet Sprocket, Zebra, Robin Thicke, Candlebox, plus many other talented bands you may not of heard about just yet. And while you may not venture to downtown just to see these artists, if you’re already there it’s free entertainment.
Each band in the Fremont Street free concert series performs on one of three stages: the 1st Street Stage near Binion’s, the 3rd Street Stage by The D, and the Main Street Stage closer to the Plaza. Each stage has a different capacity, with the most popular acts typically landing the more prominent spots. The best viewing areas are directly in front of the stages, though VIP guests usually get first access. Despite being free, these concerts draw large crowds, so expect heightened security.
With prices in Sin City higher than ever, it’s refreshing that Fremont Street is still offering free entertainment—even if you might not recognize all the names. This year’s series kicks off May 24th with Hinder, Drowning Pool, and Saliva, followed by performances all summer long from bands like Alien Ant Farm, Ugly Kid Joe, and Dishwalla. Free shows run every weekend through September 6th. In addition to live music, the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas features a massive LED canopy, street performers, and casinos.
