The wait is finally over, the Halo Infinite update is here. This major update brings with it some awesome new features, as well as plenty of bug fixes. So, what’s new? What is Halo Infinite?
Halo Infinite marks the return of the Master Chief, but this time around, he is a Spartan-II. As you’re likely aware of by now, Spartan-IIIs are somewhat of a re-imagining of the original crew in Halo 3. That being said, the Master Chief’s story in this game will be very different from the one that is found in previous Halo games. The Master Chief will have a child, a daughter named Isabel, who will be introduced in this game. The Spartan-II’s new armor will feature an integrated shield that can be used in combat. This shield is the obvious upgrade to the classic Halo shield.
What happens in Halo Infinite?
The events of Halo Infinite begin immediately after the end of Halo 5: Guardians. In the year 2552, humanity is at war with the alien Highlord. In this conflict, the Earth is under threat of total alien occupation. As a result, the United Nations Space Command (UNSC) prepares for a final offensive against the Covenant on Earth. The Highlord, known as the Diomedes, is the main enemy of the game. The Covenant, meanwhile, is a much more diverse group of ancient aliens that still function as threats in this new generation of games. The UNSC commander, a character named directly associated with the Master Chief, is responsible for the success or failure of the human war effort. In addition to the main story, players will also have a plethora of content to enjoy as they explore different areas of the map. For example, there are a number of different multiplayer modes that will be available in this game. These include both old school 2 vs 2 and 3 vs 3, as well as a new 4 vs 4 team deathmatch mode. This is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the variety of content that will be available in this game.
As mentioned above, this game will feature a variety of different protagonists. Each of these characters will have a different back story and play a key role in the overall story of the game. Moreover, each of these characters will develop their own relationship with the Master Chief, and the end of the game will reveal the true purpose of each character in the game
What is different in Halo Infinite?
As mentioned above, the player will no longer play as the Master Chief. Instead, they will take the role of a different character in this upcoming instalment in the Halo franchise. The character will be different from the one that players have previously encountered in Halo, and the new character’s storyline will be very different from the rest of the series. This is especially true of the ending of the game, which will be a cliffhanger that will definitely leave many fans of the series wanting more.
When will players be able to play Halo Infinite?
Halo Infinite will be available to play when it is revealed at Microsoft’s annual E3 event in June. However, you won’t have to wait that long to get your hands on this new game. Where to start in Halo Infinite?
To properly experience the awesomeness that is Halo Infinite, you’ll need to get your hands on a copy of the game. That being said, you’ll probably want to start at the beginning. The first thing you’ll want to do is check out the campaign mode. The campaign mode of this game will be based around five characters, who are each played by a different actor. The campaign will span 15 levels, each with its own unique challenges and challenges for all characters. After the campaign, you’ll want to head into the competitive multiplayer mode. This will let you experience the variety that is available in this game. There are a number of different game modes, including 12v12 battle royale, two-on-two, and team deathmatch. Additionally, you’ll want to check out the new 4 vs 4 team deathmatch mode. This is sure to be a deciding factor in many games this season.
In a time when many games are focusing on single characters, Halo offers a refreshing change of pace. While this game may not be a single-player experience, it is still very much a game about cohesive storytelling.
